Senior Speech and Language Therapist (Paediatrics)

East Central Cork

Fixed Term Contract – 12 months

Full Time – 35 hour working week

Cope Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Temporary Senior Grade Speech & Language Therapist in paediatric services. The successful applicant will work within an interdisciplinary team and will work as a member of a Children’s Disability Network Team.

Applicants must possess the following:

  • A BSc in Speech & Language Therapy or its’ equivalent is required.
  • The successful applicant must be CORU registered
  • Have 3 years post qualification experience
  • Hold a full clean driving licence and have their own vehicle at the time of application
  • Candidates must have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
  • Experience supporting children with disabilities and their families
  • Experience supporting children and young people with Feeding, Eating, Drinking and Swallowing difficulties

A panel may be formed for a 12-month period to fill future temporary, full time and part time Senior Speech and Language Therapist positions that may arise across all CDNTs managed by Cope Foundation as Lead Agency. The Department of Health & Children Consolidated Scales apply.
