Training Centres, Day Services & Community Hubs
(aligned to the Workshop Supervisor/Instructor, Senior salary scale)
Fulltime Permanent, 39 hour working week
Qualifications, experience required:
- A relevant third level qualification in the area of Health and Social Care is essential
- Full Driver’s licence is desirable
- Experience of working with people who have complex needs/Intectual Disability is essential
- Person centred in their approach; really listen to what people we support communicate
- Community based support experience
- Familiarity with relevant policies on day services
- Ability to develop and implement person centred programmes
- Good communication and people skills
- Initiative, flexibility, enthusiasm
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Confidentiality and a focus on dignity when providing care
- Excellent team working skills and the ability to motivate others
- Ability to co-ordinate timetables, activities and plans based on the needs of the people we support
