Service Coordinator

Location: Tullamore, Co. Offaly

The Services Coordinator will support the organisation in its ongoing development and monitoring of day service supports, while also assisting regional structures in the delivering the broader supports offered by the Muiriosa Foundation.

The Muiriosa Foundation is a voluntary organisation, and all staff members are required to work in accordance with the Ethos of the organisation as expressed in the Vision, Mission and Core Values.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a single organisational contact to the HSE Day Opportunities Office in relation to Day Services Data and Monitoring.
  • Act as the centre point of support to all Day Service Locations re the development, collation and monitoring of New Directions, EASI Tool and Day Services Monitoring Data.
  • Develop and manage a data management system re the monitoring of the above data.
  • Keep up to date with National and International Best Practice re Day Service Supports.
  • Keep up to date and disseminate HSE updates in relation to Day Service Supports.
  • Work collaboratively with the Learning and Development Department in providing training to day services staff and leaders re New Directions, EASI and Day Services Monitoring.
  • Play a supporting role to the regional structures in relation to project, group, innovation and developmental work.
  • Play a lead role in the development and submission of Grant Applications.
  • From time to time, represent Muiriosa Foundation at external HSE, Federation or other meetings, webinars etc…
  • Liaise with the Quality Risk & Safety Department in the development and supports of day services quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support the smooth running of the Chief Operating Officer’s office including the promotion of efficiencies through the use of AI, technology or by any other means.

Requirements for the role:

  • At least 3 years in a leadership role within the Disability Sector.
  • Track record in the delivery high quality Person Focused Supports.
  • Experience in the support and oversight of Day Services.
  • Previous experience in data collation and support systems.
  • Organisational, logistical and I.T skills.
  • An understanding on Standards within the disability sector, particularly New Directions and associated HSE Data and Documentation.
  • A deep understanding and alignment to Muiríosa’s Vision, Mission and Values.
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and stakeholders within the Disability Sector.
  • The ability to organise own work in order to manage multiple priorities.
  • The ability to present information clearly, concisely, and confidently.
  • Displays professional sectoral knowledge and skills in order to undertake role.
  • Track record in innovation in Person Centred Initiatives.

Candidates should note that as part of this role they will be required to travel between locations
