As a Shared Services Specialist, you will contribute to the effective delivery, governance and continuous improvement of operational support services across PTSB. While this role has a primary focus on Health & Safety, you will also support the wider Shared Services remit. You will play a key role in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, strengthening risk management practices, partnering with colleagues and third-party vendors, and driving consistent and efficient processes across Shared Services functions.


Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery and embedding of Shared Services frameworks, policies and procedures.
  • Act as a first line point of contact for operational queries, providing clear guidance, risk aware recommendations and timely escalation where required.
  • Monitor and maintain relevant operational, risk and control registers (e.g., incidents, KRIs, SLAs, service logs.)
  • Support Vendor and Third Party oversight activities, including performance monitoring, issue management, and assurance checks.
  • Draft, update and maintain policy, process and training documentation to ensure consistency and compliance across Shared Services.
  • Assist with the delivery of operational reporting and dashboards.
  • Support the planning and execution of internal and external audits, ensuring evidence readiness and follow-up of actions.
  • Partner with the Shared Services Risk & Governance team on RCSA, control testing, risk assessments and policy compliance.
  • Contribute to cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives, including the reduction of manual processes, improved customer experience and enhanced operational resilience.


Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working in a Health & Safety, Risk, Facilities, Operations or similar control function, within a regulated or corporate environment.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exposure to risk management frameworks.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • A proactive mindset with commitment to strengthening governance, operational resilience, and risk culture.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.


This is a Permanent role based in Dublin (Hybrid).
