Shift Craft Electrical Technician

At C&D Foods Edgeworthstown we have a requirement for a Craft Technician (Electrical) working on Shift (12Hhr Continental Shift Pattern) within our Engineering Department.

Shift Pattern

The shifts are 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am. The shift cycle would be as follows:

Week 1 – In Monday and Tuesday, Off Wednesday, and Thursday and In Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Week 2- Off Monday and Tuesday, In Wednesday and Thursday and Off Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all Production Machinery and Plant Services i.e. PLC (Siemens/Allen Bradley), Electrical Cabinets, Electrical Containment, Sensors, Knowledge of testing equipment, De-bugging and systems development, Programming, Steam, Air, Water etc.

Qualifications:

• Candidates should be qualified to Senior Trades level, or comparable European NFQ qualifications, and / or NCEA Cert. Diploma in an Electro-Mechanical discipline. FETAC Level 6 Accreditation or equivalent but not limited to Solas apprenticeship, City & Guilds apprenticeship or higher.
