Shipping and Transport Administrator

Role Summary:

Dawn Meats Group is one of Europe's leading beef and lamb processing companies with locations across Ireland, UK, France and continental Europe employing over 8,000 employees. We are currently seeking to recruit a Shipping and Transport Administrator at our Kildare site.

This is an entry‑level position. Full training will be provided, and no prior industry experience is required.

ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Processing export and domestic shipping documentation daily.
• Ensure stock is allocated to orders to fulfil shipping schedules.
• Liaise with Planning scheduler/ coordinator re stock/shipping timeline requirements.
• Managing internal and external cold store movements.
• Liaising with account managers and haulage agents on logistical matters
• Telesales & Customer Support
• Purchase order generation and general admin support.

• Fluent English
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment using own initiative and make decisions quickly and effectively.
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent phone skills
• Knowledge of customs clearance procedures would be advantageous
