Shipping/Dispatch Operative

Role Overview:

We are currently recruiting an experienced Shipping / Dispatch Operative to join our fast paced expanding organisation. For the suitable candidate this is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse, dynamic, flexible organisation experiencing massive growth and expansion.

• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical assemblies.
• The post will require flexibility to ensure the delivery of an effective and efficient service to Prodieco’s customer base.
• Forklift experience will be required.
• Full clean Irish Driving Licence.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Pack and Label finished product.
• Prepare documents for shipments
• Prepare goods for despatch.
• Communicate Daily shipping list to Sales as applicable.
• Manage and communicate with various couriers for both despatch and incoming goods.
• Input relevant data into system relating to both incoming and outgoing products.
• Be proactive in identifying and auctioning aging sales orders.
• Loading and unloading couriers
• Lock up and alarm duties.
• Manage shipping consumable stocks.

Experience:

• Minimum of 12 months in a similar role:
• Shipping Operative
• Packaging
• Warehousing
