Shipping/Inventory Operative

We are now recruiting a Shipping/Inventory Operative. 

The ideal candidate will be well organized, can multi-task, ensures adherence to procedures and takes pride in accuracy and attention to detail. The positions available will suit candidates who are willing to work full-time evening shift or night shift.

The role

• Prepare paperwork and packages to ensure safe delivery to destination
• Verify parts description, quantities, lot numbers, customer part numbers etc.
• Prepare export and all paperwork for carrier e.g. FedEx, UPS.
• Unloading, Checking off and labeling of incoming material
• Replenish production supplies and consumables as required
• Drive forklift and move pallets of material using a pallet truck

Applicants must have:

• Inventory/ Shipping experience
• Proficiency with PC-based software packages, e-mail and spreadsheets
• Full driving license and recent forklift driving experience
• Applicants must possess basic mathematical skills and preference will be given to candidates with a minimum Leaving Certificate or equivalent level of education

We will highly value candidates with experience working in a manufacturing environment and who have experience working with an ERP computer system (Oracle 11i/12 preferred).
