We would like to invite applications for the role of Shipping Specialist at our Waterford site. 

The Shipping Specialist will be responsible for co-ordinating end to end shipment process of finished product from the distribution warehouses through to the customer, including all relevant shipping documentation, and transportation requirements to meet internal and external customer service.

• To plan and arrange shipments in order to ensure shipments are dispatched as per agreed deadlines and are tracked to the ultimate consignee. .
• To ensure transport and paperwork for all new and existing products, samples, machine parts etc., are completed in line with Teva and transportation authority requirements, and are dealt with through DSV Panalpina Portal as a priority.
• To ensure the highest level of customer service is offered to our internal and external customers by responding to customer queries within agreed time frame.
• To identify and make recommendations for improvements within or outside the department in order to eliminate non-value added activities
• To deal effectively with all customer queries, complaints and investigations with regard to shipping of finished product. 
• To provide advice to internal customers regarding shipping requirements for various regions / global locations in line with legislation and Teva requirements. 
• To support customer service team within the supply chain department.
• To lead the level loading of inbound deliveries and schedules to the site.
• To co-ordinate R&D outbound shipping through SAP and the adhoc shipping requirements of other departments.

Are you…. 

• Experienced in the transport of goods by air, road and sea-Ideally Pharmaceutical?

Do you have?

• A Formal Qualification in Transport / Logistics or Industry Experience?
• Computer Literate Microsoft Word, Excel & SAP?
• Extensive experience in Customer Service Role / Shipping Role?
• Knowledge of Company Policies and Procedures.?
• Knowledge of Regulatory standards in industry?
• Knowledge of Shipping Requirements & Procedures?
• Knowledge of IATA Regulations and Standards?
• Excellent organisational, planning and prioritising skills?
• Excellent interpersonal skills?
