Site Trainer

The Site Trainer is responsible for planning, organising, and overseeing training programs for employees to ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and job-specific skills development. This role involves assessing training needs, developing instructional materials, coordinating training sessions, and maintaining training records.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance, update and promotion of Nvolve.
- Facilitate Induction training, including manual handling, food safety and completion of associated paperwork.
- Enrolment of new employees on clocking system
- Design and develop in house training programs for SOPs and work instructions.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and liaise with experts regarding instructional design for work instructions, taking pictures, compiling text as necessary.
- Work closely with Production Managers/Supervisors/ Team leaders to determine training needs for existing staff and track and monitor progress highlighting issues.
- Track and create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records for the company highlight any employees who fail training.
- Prepare for and take part in factory audits
- Organise first Aid, training new and refresher- track and flag when expiring
- Organise FLT, Shunter, Reach Truck, Stacker training- track and flag when expiring
- Coordinate with external trainers or agencies when necessary
- Design, prepare and order educational aids and materials.
- Maintain training matrices and training records.
- Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
- Plan and schedule training sessions without disrupting production schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions, certifications, and attendance.
- Prepare training reports for management to assess program success.
- Ensure training materials are up to date and reflect current best practices
- Represent the Company at careers events and job fairs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to develop training materials and use training software.
- Organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in the use of a training management system is desirable
- Train the trainer qualification desirable
- Experience of BRC desirable
