A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Grade VII Recovery Co-Ordinator in Sligo Leitrim Donegal Community Healthcare within Adult Mental Health Services from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.

Details of Service
The HSE has created six new health regions. Each region is responsible for providing both hospital and community care for the people in that area. Bringing community health services and hospitals together means we can take a more patient-centred approach to healthcare.
HSE West and North West is responsible for the provision of all acute and community services across the 6 counties of Galway, Mayo, Roscommon, Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal and is operationally divided into 4 Integrated Health Areas (IHAs) – Galway/Roscommon IHA, Mayo IHA, Sligo/Leitrim/West Cavan/South Donegal IHA and Donegal IHA, each managed by an Integrated Health Area (IHA) Manager.
HSE West North West Region includes the following hospitals -
· Letterkenny University Hospital
· Mayo University Hospital
· Merlin Park University Hospital
· Portiuncula University Hospital
· Roscommon University Hospital
· Sligo University Hospital
· University Hospital Galway
It is envisaged that the Recovery Coordinator role will have a cross IHA or regional lens.
Reporting Arrangements
Reports to the General Manager for Mental Health Services, HSE, Sligo Leitrim Donegal Cavan Monaghan Community Healthcare or their delegate.
Key Working Relationships
The Grade VII Recovery Co-ordinator will have key working relationships in the fulfilment of the duties and responsibilities of their role with staff from all areas of the Mental Health Services, including but not limited to:
· The Head of Mental Health Services Sligo Leitrim Donegal Cavan Monaghan Community Healthcare
· The Executive Clinical Director(s) Mental Health
· Clinical Directors, General Managers,
· Area Director of Nursing,
· Assistant Directors of Nursing
· Heads of Discipline
· All Mental Health staff as well as internal and external stakeholders
· Central Office of Mental Health Engagement and Recovery
Purpose of the Post
The continued development of recovery-oriented services is a key priority of Mental Health Services through the implementation of the national mental health policies ‘Sharing the Vision” and the “National Framework for Recovery in Mental Health”.
Sligo Leitrim Donegal Community Healthcare are committed to the development of comprehensive recovery-oriented services. In collaboration with the Area Lead for Mental Health Engagement (MHE) and service improvement function in Mental Health in the IHA/RHA, the Recovery Co-ordinator will support services to embed the principles of recovery across Mental Health Services.
Their work will focus on the centrality of the service user experience, co-production and co-education, driving organisational commitment and further embedding recovering learning and practice within the services in accordance with the National Framework for Recovery.
The Recovery Co-Ordinator will play a key role in the development of the Sligo Leitrim Donegal Community Healthcare and wider RHA MHER strategy and implementation plan for the design and delivery of recovery-oriented services in the region supported by and reporting to the Executive Management Team.
