A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for North West Hospice Specialist Palliative Care Service from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled

Purpose of the Post

· The post holder will be responsible for facilitating the personal and professional development of the multidisciplinary team in North West Hospice to ensure they are competent and safe practitioners in a caring and compassionate way, thus providing high quality patient care across the service area.

· The post holder will be responsible for developing and implementing a programme of practice development and education to support the priorities of the clinical areas.

· Assist in the development and implementation of induction and orientation programmes for new staff of all disciplines in the clinical areas and evaluates the effectiveness of the programmes.

· Assist in the ongoing development and training of PCOC (Palliative Care Outcomes Collaboration).
