St. Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network (SLRON) operates across three sites – St. Luke’s Radiation Oncology Centre at St. Luke’s Hospital, St. Luke’s Radiation Oncology Centre at St. James’s Hospital, and St. Luke’s Radiation Oncology Centre at Beaumont Hospital.
St. Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network is dedicated to being a world class leader in cancer treatment, patient care, research and education. In striving for this excellence, the holistic needs of our patients and their families are our greatest concern. Multidisciplinary teams, consisting of medical, nursing, health and social care professionals, management and general support staff work together in the development, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of services within the hospital.
A Quality Assurance In Radiotherapy (QART) group is in place in SLRON with representatives from all disciplines involved in radiotherapy treatment and planning. QART has oversight of and manages all aspects quality assurance in radiotherapy across the network and liaises with other relevant Quality, Patient Safety & Risk committees in the Network. QART was established in line with the National Quality Assurance Framework for Radiation Oncology in Ireland (NCCP, 2018)
The current vacancy is for 0.5 whole time equivalent post. There may be the opportunity to work as a full time clinical specialist radiation therapist – 0.5 WTE for the QART role, 0.5 WTE as a clinical CSRT. Please make an informal enquiry for more details.
