Established in 2010, St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network operates from three Dublin locations – St Luke’s Hospital and St. Luke’s Radiation Oncology centres in St James’ and Beaumont Hospitals. St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network is dedicated to being a world

class leader in cancer treatment, patient care, research and education. In striving for this excellence, the holistic needs of our patients and their families are our greatest concern.

Multidisciplinary teams, consisting of medical, nursing, allied health professionals, management and general support staff play a pivotal role in the development, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of services within the hospital.

Quality, Patient Safety & Risk is a new department in St. Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and motivated team involved in the implementation and management of quality and patient safety programmes. These

include:

  • Risk Management,
  • Quality Improvement Programmes,
  • Standards including oversight of Policies, Procedures and Guidelines,
  • Complaints and Advocacy,
  • Freedom of Information requests,
  • Audit,
  • Quality, Patient Safety and Clinical Risk awareness programmes,
  • Incident Reporting and Learning

The post holder will be based in St Luke’s Hospital, Rathgar, Dublin but will also be responsible for St. Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network centres at St. James’ Hospital & Beaumont Hospital, Dublin and will be expected to attend at these sites as required.

A panel may be created for Grade VI Quality, Patient Safety and Risk Coordinator for St. Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network from which permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part time duration may be filled.
