SOCIAL CARE LEADER/ PIC
St. Joseph’s Centre, Clonsilla.
PERMANENT, FULL-TIME CONTRACT (39HPW)
Salary: €57,484 - €67,130 LSI *
*Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.

Essential:
- QQI Level 7 (or higher) qualification in Social Care/Applied Social Studies or equivalent, the award must be considered eligible for CORU registration.
- Up to date CORU registration or Confirmation of application for registration submitted to CORU.
- Recognised Management Qualification FETAC/QQI Level 6 or equivalent.
· Have at least 5 years' experience in Social Care of which 3 must be within Intellectual disability services.
· Have experience of supporting people with intellectual disabilities, complex health needs, autism and behaviours of concern.
· Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work on own initiative.
· Ability to work effectively with families and the wider MDT.
- Full clean Irish driving licence for manual vehicles and access to own vehicle.
- Proficiency in the English language.
Desirable:
- QQI Level 8 is desirable but applicants with level 7 degree who have relevant experience will be considered. The award must be considered eligible for CORU registration
- Have experience of Person-Centred planning.
- Have an awareness of New Directions and regulations.
- Desire to support people to live their best lives.
- Willingness to support persons to develop skills and competencies around identified areas of interest and learning.
*Applicants should possess Level 2 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework.
