SOCIAL CARE WORKER WITH TEAM LEAD RESPONSIBILITY

Laois Day Services

Permanent Full Time 78 Hours Per Fortnight Contract

We are recruiting for the position of Social Care Worker with Team Lead responsibiliies to work as part of a dynamic team supporting Individuals within the Laois Day Services. The successful candidate will be provided with the opportunity to support individuals with independent living skills, community inclusion and the promotion of their personal health and wellbeing. They will be given the opportunities and resources to encourage and motivate individuals in pursuing their personal interests and life goals. We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Social Care Worker/Team Lead to support, encourage and motivate individuals to lead a fulfilling life.

Requirements:

• Relevant recognised Diploma in Social Care / Applied Social Studies in Social Care (Level 7 on National Framework of Qualifications), Please note social care candidates must be registered with CORU or provide confirmation from CORU that they have commenced the process of registration.
• Experience of supporting adults with intellectual disabilities/ Autism/ behaviours of concern.
• Excellent organisational, logistical and I.T skills an advantage.
• Knowledge of New Directions and ability to complete Easi Tool process.
• A valid Full Licence to drive a manual vehicle in Ireland;
• Suitability as outlined in the introduction to the role.
