SOCIAL CARE WORKERS

ADULT DAY SERVICES, st Vincent's centre navan road

PERMANENT, PART-TIME (35 Hours per Week)

Salary:€39,951 -€56,089* (LSI)

*Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.

Essential:

· QQI Level 7 (or higher) qualification in Social Care/Applied Social Studies or equivalent, the award must be considered eligible for CORU registration.

· Full clean Irish manual driving licence willingness to drive service vehicle.

Desirable:

· Experience working within the area of intellectual disability.

· Experience supporting a person with behaviours of concern.

· To adopt a holistic and person centred approach to your role to ensure people are supported to live their best lives.

· To have knowledge of New Directions.

· Willingness to support persons to develop skills and competencies around identified areas of interest and learning.

Applicants should possess Level 1 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework.
