Social Care Workers - Residential Services

To support our mission, vision and development of the organisation we are looking for Social Care Workers (Permanent Full Time, Part -Time and Relief Social Care Worker positions available)

Roles are based in New Ross area, Co. Wexford.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

To develop and maintain a home-like environment where residents are supported to live an ordinary life, make choices and decisions about their lives, learn new skills, and maximise their independence.

To promote and develop person centred standard of service that ensures equality and that the dignity and confidentiality of each resident is respected and observed

𝗘𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱;

• QQI Level 5 Major Award or equivalent relevant qualification in Health or Social Care

• A minimum of 6 months’ work experience working with individuals with intellectual disability/complex needs a distinct advantage

• Good IT and report writing skills.

• Must hold a full clean driving licence and be willing to drive company vehicle

Permanent and relief positions available. Full Time, Part Time & Relief positions to cover annual leave, sick leave, and other absences as and when required. Work pattern includes day shift, night shift and weekend availability.

A six-month probationary period will apply.

Garda Clearance and reference checks will be required for all prospective employees.
