About the Role:

The Business Services Team is a centre of excellence within Business Banking, Capital Markets. The team consists of Credit, Fulfilment and Client Services Teams with a strong focus on specialism across a range of activities ensuring faultless execution and delivering for our customers.

Business Banking operates an end-to-end Relationship Model for Medium Sized Business and acts as a trusted advisor for our customers. The Business Services Team works closely with the Relationship Management teams to ensure we deliver a best in class service for our customer and deliver on our ambition of Making Business Happen Together.

As the centres of excellence model evolves further, the key strategic direction of the Client Services Team is to expand its scope by engaging with our customers for their everyday banking needs, embed a best in class customer experience and faultlessly deliver for our customers.

An opportunity now exists within our team for a specialist with experience in dealing with professional business customers, small/medium enterprises, to assist with their on-boarding experience to AIB and with their day to day banking queries as their journey with us evolves. Some of the activities of the role relate to daily banking requirements, Account opening, Criminal Justice Act (CJA), ownership structure investigations and approval, mandate review and supporting procedures.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide excellent customer service and support
  • Build and develop strong and collaborative relationships – both internally and externally
  • Advise and support the business and customers in understanding and implementing AML/CFT Compliance obligations.
  • Be a strong team player
  • Drive and embed a centre of excellence which will deliver faultless execution within the Client Services Team

What you will bring:

  • At least 3 years’ previous experience in a Banking Operations and/or Account Opening role.
  • Knowledge and experience of SME business banking.
  • While QFA is preferable, minimum requirement of APA Loans and APA Savings & Investments.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills with an ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and varied decision making scenarios.
