SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPIST
EAST LIMERICK CHILDREN SERVICES, LIMERICK
PERMANENT FULL-TIME CONTRACT (35 Hours Per Week).
Salary: € 45,514 - 65,068 (lsi)
*Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience .

Avista in partnership with the HSE are lead agency of East Limerick Children Services, a Children’s Disability Network Team in Limerick. We are looking for candidates who are committed to supporting children with disabilities who have complex needs and their families, in a family and person centred, community based, socially inclusive manner in accordance with our core values and ethos and underpinned by quality, best practice and research.
As a Basic Grade Speech and Language Therapist you will join our highly motivated interdisciplinary Children’s Disability Network Team providing services to children and families.
Essential Criteria:
- Hold a recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy
- Up to date CORU registration
- Applicants with qualifications obtained outside of Ireland must provide a certificate of validation of their qualifications from the Department of Health.
- Experience working with children and families
- Full clean Irish driving licence and use of a car
- Proficiency in the English language
Desirable Criteria:
· Dysphagia qualification
· Clinical experience of working with children with a variety of complex needs including Autism, Intellectual Disability and Physical Disability.
Applicants should possess Level 1 behavioral competencies of Avista competency framework.
