Job Description & Summary

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated individual to join our Events and Sponsorship Team – part of the wider Clients & Markets (C&M) team in PwC. The C&M team provides a range of marketing consultancy related services to partners and managers across the firm.

As an associate on the Events and Sponsorship team, your responsibilities will include:

  • End to end management of the activation of the Partners Community Fund programme 

  • Supporting the development of all firmwide sponsorship activation plans, coordinating campaign activities using the full range of marketing channels, ensuring they’re managed through a consistent and tightly budgeted process

  • Liaising with key internal stakeholders to ensure all sponsorships are aligned with global brand clearing guidelines and align with firm policies more broadly

  • Forging strong relationships with rights holders to develop and implement joint sponsorship and marketing plans 

  • Campaign management to include planning, activation, and evaluation on all marketing initiatives 

  • Keeping up to date with best-in-class industry and external sponsorship offerings including the latest technology and other leading-edge sponsorship experiential practices 

  • Measuring effectiveness of our sponsorships and creating reports to showcase our plans and results

  • Budget management of all our sponsorship portfolio

Education / professional qualifications:

  • Third level qualification in a business discipline would be preferable 

Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years experience in Marketing or related field. Experience in sponsorship, either in an agency or a large in-house team, is advantageous. 

  • Background in handling branding, logo, and design requests.

  • Knowledge of sponsorship measurement tools or data analysis would be beneficial. 

  • Expertise in managing, activating, and evaluating sponsorships.

  • High degree of enthusiasm and adaptability to work in a busy and innovative team.

  • Good team player, with a willingness to learn and share knowledge.

  • Very strong project management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise as appropriate and identify/resolve possible problems before they arise.

  • Extensive Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint experience in report preparation.

  • Displays initiative, proactivity and energy to achieve results. Capable of working to tight deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
