PERMANENT FULL-TIME CONTRACT (37.5 Hours Per Week).

Salary: €37,288 -€55,477 * (lsi)

*Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience .

Avista provide Residential and Day Services to people with Disabilities. San Joseph Respite House offers overnight and day respite services to children with complex disability needs.

We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who are committed to supporting children with disabilities and their families, in a child and family centered, community based, socially inclusive manner in accordance with our core values and ethos and underpinned by quality, best practice and research. This post will include working as part of a team and working varied hours to a roster as this service operates 7 days a week.

Essential:

· Have up to date NMBI Registration.

• Full clean manual Irish driving licence.
• Proficiency in the English language.

Desirable:

• Have proven organizational, communication, interpersonal and team working skills.
• Be committed to pro-actively supporting children in their daily live activities and provide choices and learning opportunities through a child centred approach.
• Have an organisational commitment to implement Avista core values and vision.
• Have previous experience of working with children with a dual diagnosis.
• Applications welcomed by pre-registered nurses.
• Applicants should possess Level 1 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework.
