APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION:

STAFF NURSE

COMMUNITY RESIDENTIAL SERVICES, LIMERICK.

PERMANENT FULL-TIME CONTRACT (37.5 Hours Per Week).

Salary: €37,288 -€55,477 * (lsi)

*Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.

Essential:

· NMBI Registration.

· Be committed to pro-actively supporting individuals in all aspects of their daily lives and choices

through a person-centred approach.

· Have proven organisational, leadership, communication, interpersonal and teambuilding skills.

· Ability to network with external agencies, PHN’s, GP’s, acute hospitals etc.

· Experience of working in an interdisciplinary /multidisciplinary team.

· Have ability to manage a caseload and to work on own initiative.

· Have a full clean manual Irish driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Desirable:

· Experience working in community setting providing supports to people with intellectual disabilities.

· Have a good knowledge of HIQA Standards and the PCP framework.

· Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.

· Have experience of working with Behaviours of Concern and complex care needs and supporting mentoring staff teams in the delivery of high-quality care to the Supported Individuals.

· Level 1 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework as set out in the job description.
