Staff Nurse in Paediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM)

�� Are you ready to take the next step in your Nursing career? Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) is now inviting applications for Staff Nurse in Paediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM).

This role focuses on delivering high‑quality, child‑ and family‑centred nursing care within the Emergency Department. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will rotate through all ED areas, developing core paediatric emergency skills with a structured career progression pathway.

They will provide clinical leadership, act as a role model, and ensure care aligns with the hospital’s mission and values. The role also involves supporting the efficient running of the department, promoting continuous improvement through evidence‑based practice, and taking delegated responsibility in the absence of Clinical Nurse Managers, while maintaining strict confidentiality at all times.

Essential Requirements:

✨ Registered Children’s/Registered General Nurse with acute paediatric experience.

✨ Proven record of continuous professional development.

✨ Excellent communication skills.
