Purpose of the Role
The post holder will fulfil the duties expected of a staff grade occupational therapist.
This staff grade position is part of a rotational sequence with the opportunity to work across a number of medical and surgical clinical teams, and will involve opportunities to work across a variety of CHI sites, within both in-patient and out-patient settings. The clinical areas may include Orthopaedics, Burns & Hand Therapy, Neurosciences (Neurology & Neurosurgery), General Paediatrics (in-patient medical & surgical), Cardiology,Mental Health and Orthopaedics.
The successful candidate may be required to work across CHI sites and services in line with organisational requirements and the development of the new children’s hospital and associated services.
Essential Criteria:
· A recognised validated qualification in Occupational Therapy
· Be registered as an Occupational Therapist with CORU
