A fixed-term vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following post and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:-
Stakeholder Relations & Social Value Officer
Hours of Work: 37 Hours per week
Status: This is a fixed term funded position, in the first instance until 31 March 2029 which may be extended subject to funding
Salary: Scale PO3 and in the range SCP 34 - 37, currently £45,091 to £48,226 per annum.
Location: The location of this post will be confirmed following the appointment process and may be subject to review as part of the review of services.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Stakeholder Relations and Social Value Officer will support the Major Projects Team ensuring that major construction and infrastructure projects deliver meaningful, measurable benefits for local communities.
The Major Projects Team are responsible for the delivery of large scale strategic capital projects for Mid and East Antrim Borough Council. The projects have been identified within the Corporate Strategy and currently include the Belfast Region City Deal and regeneration of St Patrick’s Barracks.
Working closely with internal teams, contractors and broad range of stakeholders, the postholder will lead the development, delivery and monitoring of social value initiatives and public engagement strategies throughout the lifecycle of high-profile, high-value projects.
