Sterilisation Operator

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Key role in the operation of our sterilisation process and part of a team responsible for processing all finished goods in an efficient, timely and co-ordinated manner, while fully adhering to Standard Operating Procedures, which will deliver the optimum throughput and results
  • Responsible for the effective and efficient operation of Baxter’s sterilisation process through the Sterilisation Management System and will be part of a team accountable for processing all finished goods
  • Loading/Unloading Vessels, reviewing cycles and managing aberrations
  • May perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum Secondary level Education required

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Able to communicate clearly and confidently
  • Capable of handling a wide variety of work
  • Ability to respond to set tasks in a timely manner
  • Able to deliver detailed and accurate data as required in the role
  • Maintain excellent Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Portray a professional, helpful and courteous attitude while carrying out job
  • Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and management
  • Strong IT skills and willingness to learn new systems and technologies
