Store/Maintenance Assistant

Objective of the Role

As Stores/Maintenance Assistant you will responsible for the receiving, receipting and storage of goods into the hotel, checking for quality and accuracy as well as ensure correct administration of deliveries. You will also be required to work with and assist the maintenance team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the receipting and storage of all food & beverage items, dry goods, cleaning chemicals, stationary items & disposables 
• Acceptance of all deliveries, checking for damages, and ensuring that all HACCP regulations are in order.
• Ensure Accounts receive invoices, purchase orders and delivery dockets daily
• Receipt all goods received on procure wizard
• Check & record temperature of food items
• Ensure all empty kegs are returned when full kegs are delivered
• Management of the waste disposal within the Hotel
• Taking responsible for the cleaning and organisation of the back-yard area and general hotel grounds, ensuring that areas have been cleaned daily
• Keep storage areas as per company cleanliness standards
• Cardboard to be bailed each day
• To work with the maintenance team on routine maintenance and upkeep of the hotel facilities, and refurbishment of hotel facilities 
• To work with and assist the maintenance team on moving of furniture, garden items and other daily manual tasks.
• Ensure all work is carried out to the highest professional and Safety standards possible

Requirements:

• Experience in purchasing is a key advantage
• Previous hospitality experience is desirable
• Be self-motivated and have the ability to prioritise work
• Be standards driven and detail-orientated
• Have flexibility regarding working hours
• Fluent English is required for the role
