We are looking for a Hospitality Manager look after our stores. The role will involve ensuring efficient operation of the restaurant units, upholding high quality customer service standards as well as maintaining business revenue and collaborating on delivering the business strategy.


Direct supervisor: Regional Manager

Primary tasks and responsibilities

1. Responsible for the efficient and effective management of the Unit: Related tasks:

- Determining staff levels (qualitative and quantitative) and appointing new employees in cooperation with the HR department

- Drawing up timetables and work schedules, deploying staff in different shifts, solving pressure points

- Supervising the instruction and training of employees (training-on-the-job)

- Conducting assessment interviews and performance reviews

- Applying the policy on absenteeism

2. Coordinating/organising activities. Related tasks:

- Giving directions/instructions to the shift leaders and employees

- Monitoring the progress and quality of the activities and making adjustments in the case of deviations

- Handling complaints by guests

3. Monitoring efficiency/productivity and returns. Related tasks:

- Making (draft) budgets

- Monitoring realisation, detecting deviations and making adjustments

- Developing improvement activities

- Performing the required administrative duties

4. Additional activities, such as:

- Providing a helping hand where necessary;

- Other activities in connection with the above, as instructed by the direct supervisor;

- Performing service duties according to the timetable

- Ensure the security of the premises, cash and stock

Additional information:

- Communicating changes and decisions to assistant store managers and employees;

- Conducting and participating in various forms of consultation;

- Where necessary providing information to guests in a foreign language;

- Monitoring compliance with ARBO (health and safety) regulations, HACCP standards and other standards governing working methods and presentation.

Necessary experience/qualifications

- Minimum three years experience at a senior level in a similar faced paced environment

- Previous experience in the International Food & Beverage Industry preferable

- Proven track record managing large diverse teams of supervisors and staff

- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, computer literate is a must, experience in food inventory systems a definite advantage

- Has to be able to manage high frequencies in very short period of time

- Good leadership and communication skills including coaching and mentoring

- Effective proven organisational and time management skills

- Hands on customer focused leader with proven abilities

- Fluency in English both written and verbal

- Demonstrated ability to delegate and follow up on both routine and important tasks and decisions, while broadly sharing responsibility, accountability and recognition

- Proven track record in successfully maintaining excellent client relationships, achieving targeted financial results and overseeing of an operation that prides itself on satisfaction both from a customers' and employees' perspective

- Availability to travel as needed in performing job functions
