Store Manager

Magee is a fifth-generation Irish family business with over 150 years' experience in designing, weaving, and tailoring cloth and clothing. The Company operates across manufacturing, wholesale, retail, and E-Commerce.

A vacancy exists for a Store Manager at our flagship store on South Anne Street, Dublin. The store opened in March 2016 selling Mens', Womens', Home and Accessories Collections. The Collections incorporate fabrics designed and woven at our Mill in Donegal Town. A Made-to-Measure Service is also available.

Key responsibilities include:-

  • Responsibility for the operational management of the store including achieving sales targets, all financial transactions, staff training, health and safety, loss prevention, store security.
  • Creating an inviting retail environment and providing exceptional levels of customer service resulting in a great in-store experience for the customer.
  • Managing and motivating a great team of people.

Key requirements are:-

  • Experience in managing a similar clothing store and achieving budgeted KPIs.
  • Energy and enthusiasm with a passion for retail and knowledge of a luxury brand.
  • An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing and an understanding of the necessity of exceptional customer service.
  • Some previous knowledge of Made to Measure systems.
  • Computer literacy with a good working knowledge of Excel.

This is a great opportunity for the right person to work with a long-established Irish brand, working directly with Senior Management to further develop this flagship store.
