We are currently seeking a Stores Operative Assistant to join our Stores Department. This is a hands-on role supporting the efficient management, storage, control, and distribution of materials, tools, PPE, and equipment required to support TLI Group’s operational activities.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring materials are available when required, stock levels are maintained, and stores operations are conducted safely and efficiently

Key ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
Materials & Inventory Management-Issue materials, tools and PPE to operational teams and maintain accurate records.-Ensure all materials are signed out and receipted correctly.-Carry out stock counts and inventory audits.-Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Stores Coordinator.-Verify delivery dockets and ensure accuracy of incoming goods.-Maintain material segregation and storage requirements.-Assist with compliance testing and management of allocated equipment.
Stores & Yard Operations-Maintain warehouses, stores and yard areas to high housekeeping and safety standards.-Ensure materials and equipment are stored securely and safely.-Coordinate the collection, replacement and tracking of tools and equipment.-Assist with waste management and disposal in accordance with legislation.
Logistics & Delivery Support-Deliver materials and equipment to operational sites as required.-Follow safe driving practices and company vehicle compliance procedures.-Support operational teams by ensuring materials are available to meet planned work schedules.
Safety & Compliance-Adhere to all TLI Group Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental (HSQE) policies.-Promote a positive safety culture and contribute to achieving the company's Zero Harm objective.-Participate in risk assessments, safety meetings and training programmes.-Report accidents, near misses, unsafe conditions and equipment defects promptly.
General Duties-Assist the Stores Coordinator and provide cover during periods of annual leave or absence.-Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.-Support additional operational requirements as directed by management.
Qualifications & SkillsQualifications and Skills- Full Clean Irish Driving Licence (or equivalent). (desirable)
- Experience in stock control, stores, warehouse operations, logistics or inventory management. (desirable)
- Knowledge of tools or machinery would be beneficial.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience carrying out stock audits and inventory checks. (desirable)
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and proactive approach to work.
