About the Role:
- Receiving deliveries – using ERIKS computer systems to log deliveries received. Ensure the correct items were received with the expected standard of quality
- Allocate goods to correct shelf or correct person dependent on order type
- Stock checking - counting stock as appropriate following a yearly, monthly or weekly plan. Accurately enter data using customer’s computer system
- Check for accuracy in shelf to system correlation. Analyse results and correct any discrepancies
- Liaise with team members and management with regards to customers’ comments, stock availability and overdue/outstanding orders and, where appropriate, provide feedback to store users
- Contribute to site operational efficiency by identifying potential improvements to ERIKS/ customer processes.
- Follow and adhere to site health and safety standards and procedures – you have a duty of care for yourself and others within the working environment
- Establish, maintain and develop effective working relationships, both with store users and ERIKS team
- Assist in any other duties at the request of the line manager to meet the business needs of the customer
Working Hours:
Mon - Fri: 08.00 - 17.00pm
Total Hours: 40
Breaks: 60 mins
Key Skills, Experience & Requirements:
- Positive 'can-do' attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Previous experience within a stores/ warehousing environment
- Administrative Skills - Confident and able to work with Microsoft packages such as outlook and excel and enter data into relevant systems
- Knowledge of a similar industry is preferable but not essential
- FLT is desirable but not essential – willingness to complete FLT certification is advantageous
