Stores Person

About the role

We have a great opportunity for a Stores Person in our Kerry Agribusiness team in Scariff

The position is full time and permanent contract with working hours are 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday and 8:30 to 13:00 on Saturday.

This role reports to Location Manager. As a Stores Person, you will help our customer, manage stock and help with other store duties. Any experience as a Warehouse Operative, Forklift Driver, Stores Operative, Stock Controller and similar will be advantageous. Full training will be provided.

What will you do?

Your responsibilities as a Store Person will include:

• Serving customers, dealing with customer queries, and dealing with phone queries
• Managing stock in the store and the yard, stock counting, managing inwards and outwards deliveries
• Record keeping for stock internal audits
• Forklift duties - loading and unloading products like animal feeds, fertilizers, store goods and merchandising products
• Merchandising products and processing online orders
• Ensuring confidentiality of our Customers is kept at all times
• Following Health and Safety guidelines.
• Supporting store manager and other team members

What do you need to be successful?

• Customer care and stores experience
• Knowledge of agriculture products is desirable
• Forklift training, manual handling, chemical training will be provided during induction
