Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for a Stores/Warehouse Operative in Aurivo Dairy Ingredients. The role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and the management of materials flow, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in accordance with production scheduled. This position represents an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic candidate to work within one of Irelands leading Cooperatives

Duties:

· Operate fork trucks (counterbalance, reach, aisle master) safely and efficiently.

· Dispatch finished products onto curtain siders and reefers in line with schedules.

· Complete dispatch documentation accurately according to pick lists.

· Ensure all products are dispatched to the required food quality standards.

· Use warehouse management system (WMS) and handheld scanners for receiving and dispatching pallets.

· Complete documentation for incoming raw ingredients, packaging, and consumables.

· Transferring pallets from loading bay into relevant rooms, locations and preparing packaging and ingredients for production usage as per planned production schedules.

· Following all relevant SOP’s

· Always adhering to the companies HACCP plan and food safety.

· Working in a safe manner and adhering to all company Health and safety policies and procedures

· Work to agreed schedules with line manager.

· Maintain warehouses in a hygienic clean and safe condition – 5S and Lean, completing all records daily.

· Ensuring all waste packaging and material is disposed according to the company’s recycling policy.

· Manage internal mini bulk ingredients so that there is full traceability, ensuring all documentation is completed.

· Prepare all packaging as per production schedules.

· Monitoring fork truck mechanical and maintain hygiene standards of trucks.

Requirements:

· Counterbalance and forklift licence required.

· High attention to detail.

· Ability to work with others as part of the Team and external hauliers.

· Patience, flexible and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

· Excellent verbal communication skills
