Student Placement

KEY PURPOSE

An opportunity exists in the Labour Relation Agency’s Communications Team for an
enthusiastic and creative placement student who is keen to gain hands on work
experience in the corporate communications team, specifically in the areas of public
relations and marketing.

This placement is expected to give you an opportunity to see how the theories and
concepts studied in your degree course can be applied in an organisational context.
You will gain invaluable work experience, develop vital transferable
skills/competencies, and get a taster of the working world and life in the Agency.

Guidance and support will be provided by your line manager and other members of
the Agency, enabling placement students to develop a fuller awareness of their
business environment and how it meets the requirements of customers both within
the Agency and members of the general public.

Placement student will be offered training appropriate to business needs.
