Job Description:
The Camera Trainee supports the camera department in the preparation, maintenance, and turnaround of camera equipment for film, television, and commercial productions. This is a full-time, entry-level role designed for candidates looking to build technical knowledge and hands-on experience within a fast-paced professional camera rental environment.

Essential Criteria
- Demonstrable interest in camera equipment and film/TV production, evidenced through projects, coursework, work experience, or personal initiatives.
- Practical understanding of camera systems and accessories (tripods, matte boxes, follow focus, wireless video), demonstrated through hands-on use or training.
- Experience managing multiple tasks and priorities, showing strong organisational skills and careful attention to detail
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively, follow instructions, and contribute positively within a team environment in a work, education or voluntary setting.
- Strong communication skills, with experience of sharing information clearly with team members, external vendors and stakeholders
- A degree or higher qualification in Film, Media, or a relevant subject, or previous experience on set or in a rental house environment.
- Experience using computer systems for inventory, booking, or administrative tasks.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
