Supply Chain Analyst

Job Overview

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our company's supply chain operations. You will be responsible for analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing insights to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance within the supply chain. Your work will involve collaborating with various teams including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and production to ensure smooth and effective supply chain processes.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to supply chain operations, including but not limited to procurement, inventory levels, transportation, and distribution.
  • Identify areas of improvement and collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Report on supply chain performance metrics to management and stakeholders.
  • Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks within the supply chain and propose and implement process improvements to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and optimize workflows.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to evaluate proposed process improvements.
Essential Criteria:

Applicants must therefore demonstrate the following essential criteria on their application form in order to be considered:
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain analysis, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles, techniques, and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced knowledge within Excel
  • Good Knowledge using Power BI.
Duration: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Newry
