The Supply Chain Department is concerned with formulation and execution of strategies to build and support an efficient and globally integrated supply chain for new and existing products. The Supply Chain Co-Ordinator will support Planning, Warehouse and Master Data activities and provide ongoing administrative, coordination and planning support within Supply Chain. The Supply Chain Co-Ordinator will work directly with Operations, Purchasing & Supplier Management, programme Management, Quality, Global Supply Planning and Customers with a strong emphasis on customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with NPI project teams to manage all materials through the approval process in a timely manner.
  • Create and maintain material and vendor records in Supply Chain Business Systems DSP and SAP.
  • Collaborate closely with Global Supply Planning, Site Planning team and Warehouse to manage shipments and ensure supply requirements are met.
  • Lead Material Review Board for the site to ensure timely disposition of materials and emdo management.
  • Execute & monitor weekly & monthly metrics for the SC Dept.
  • Ensure planning parameters on SAP are accurately maintained and up to date.
  • Preparing data & analysis for monthly S&OP cycle
  • Undertake projects in Supply Chain department.
  • Adhere to and support all EHS & E and Quality standards, procedures and policies.

Ownership/Accountability:

  • This position has a direct impact on AbbVie's ability to maintain continuity of supply of products and to launch new products. The person must ensure that materials are set up in a compliant and timely manner to support production schedules and on-going assurance of supply.
  • Informs site management about issues requiring attention or improvement.
  • Is results driven contributing to the achievement of the business' financial and strategic goals.
  • Adheres to and follows all procedures, policies and guidelines ensuring compliance with cGMP and HPRA/FDA regulations, trade compliance and customs regulations.
  • Demonstrates a high level of integrity and strong business ethics.

Influence/Leadership

  • The nature of the role requires extensive interaction with colleagues across the business. The person must build strong collaborative relationships to ensure objectives are delivered.
  • May be required to lead Cross Functional Teams, Change Plan teams and cost improvement projects.

Qualifications

What you will need:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, supply chain or engineering.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in an appropriate Technical or Business Discipline
  • Skilled in the extraction of data from systems, its analysis and conversion into useful management information.
  • Experience using MRP/ERP systems, especially SAP.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience working in international cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills
