Webdoctor.ie is an online doctor service that enables patients to access world-class, affordable healthcare online from a smartphone, tablet or computer, anytime, anywhere. 

Our service has the same confidentiality as a traditional consultation, and it allows us to safely, securely and conveniently offer Irish patients an online consultation for a wide range of ailments.

What is the role?

We are looking for a talented support professional for our patients and customers. You will have responsibility for providing support through a multitude of channels including phone, email, chat and social media. This role is for you if you care deeply and passionately about support. You should have the ability to investigate support issues efficiently and in a detailed manner.

We are fanatical about patient support and we take it seriously. We are a rapidly expanding company and this is a great opportunity to join at an early stage where you can shape the role, have an input and make it your own. Reporting to the Team Lead and working within a remote team of doctors, nurses and support staff, this is a busy and varied role where no two days are the same.

The role will encompass areas such as:

  • Customer Support
  • Practice Support
  • Office Support

What are we looking for?

  • Customer focused individual who can deal with queries patiently and efficiently.
  • Computer literate, have a solid working knowledge of computers and be comfortable in a tech environment.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Prior customer support experience is essential.
  • Previous experience in healthcare is an advantage.
  • Fast & accurate typing speeds are essential.

Hours

The Support team assists during all of Webdoctor's open hours.

  • 40 hours / week
  • Support hours are 07:30–22:00, Monday to Friday, and 09:30–18:30 on weekends and bank holidays. Core hours are 09:00–18:00, with start times rotating from 07:30 onwards. Candidates should also be prepared to work regular weekend and occasional bank holiday and evening shifts.
  • 22 days annual leave per annum
