Job Purpose

Dawn Farms is currently seeking a Sustainability Executive to join our Business Development Department to be based in our Head Offices in Naas, Co. Kildare. The role requires a strong interest in environmental and sustainability issues (ESG) and an interest and understanding of how sustainability will impact the food industry in the coming years.

Interested candidates would need to be familiar with the Dawn Farms All our Futures programme and the Bord Bia Origin Green industry programme and have the ability to in time manage the coordination of these programmes on our behalf.

Positions: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Naas, Co. Kildare, Ireland

Working Hours: Mon. to Fri. 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Salary: DOE

Role Responsibilities & Duties

  • Strong communication skills for interaction with agencies, customers and to handle general queries and surveys.
  • Existing analytical and administrative abilities to support carbon scoring exercises and emission calculations.
  • An interest in quickly building knowledge of environmental regulations and legislation.
  • Develop expertise in All our Futures and Origin Green and the different sub projects.
  • An ability to manage and collaborate effectively in cross-functional meetings with the goal of achieving our targets in Origin Green and All our Futures.
  • The administration and coordination of the annual Origin Green reporting and engagement projects.
  • Contribute to the preparation of and participate in supplier and customer sustainability initiatives and marketing communications.
  • Coordination of the inhouse sustainability Champions Group charged with delivering on specific ESG initiatives.
  • A strong data analytical capability will be an advantage

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Full driving licence.
  • Relevant degree/qualification
  • Computer skills in particular PowerPoint, Word & Excel.
