Swim Teacher / Lifeguard

SWIMMING INSTRUCTOR / LIFEGUARD

We are recruiting for qualified swim instructors and lifeguards with a passion for swimming and a dedication to personal and professional high standards.

Reporting to: Pool Manager

Hours of work: Part-time, 24 hours per week, including shift work on rotation - Full-time role also available

Availability: Candidate must be available for work Monday to Friday

Essential Qualifications:

• Swim teacher qualification (valid certificate must be provided)
• Previous experience teaching swimming to children and adults (evidence must be provided)
• Fluent English speaker
• Minimum age of 18

General Requirements:

• The ability to effectively communicate with swimmers of all ages to develop their confidence and skills in the water
• Strong customer service ethic
• Lifeguard qualification desirable but not essential

Responsibilities:

• Swim Teacher (child and adult swimming lessons and swim skills camps)
• First Aid
• Additional duties including those required to maintain a clean and safe pool environment as directed by the Duty Manager
• Lifeguard supervision
