Swim Teacher

We are seeking a qualified Swim Teacher to join our Leisure Centre within the Radisson Blu Cork hotel, part of The iNUA Collection. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, guest-focused, and ready to contribute to a welcoming and professional leisure environment.

In this role, you will primarily deliver high-quality swimming lessons to guests and leisure club members of all ages and abilities. In addition, as part of our Leisure Centre team, you will support the wider operation to ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for everyone using our facilities.

• Deliver engaging, structured, and safe swimming lessons to the highest standard.

• Assess individual progress and tailor lessons to meet guests’ needs.

• Ensure all pool safety, supervision, and teaching practices follow regulatory guidelines.

• Provide a warm welcome and assist guests and members accessing the leisure centre.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting pool and leisure environment.

• Monitor and replenish towels, equipment, and poolside supplies.

• Support general leisure centre operations, including guest queries and basic equipment assistance.

• Follow all hotel and leisure centre health & safety protocols.

• Carry out additional leisure duties as required beyond teaching, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

You are an ideal fit if you:

• Are passionate about swim teaching and delivering exceptional guest service.

• Hold a recognised Swim Teacher Qualification (Water Safety Ireland / Swim Ireland – Level 1 or Level 2).

• Have excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.

• Can work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.

• Are flexible with working hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

• Have previous experience in swim teaching or working in a leisure/fitness environment (desirable).
