As Systems Administrator you are responsible for the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of site business systems, with primary responsibility for BPCS ERP master data management, including parts and Bill of Materials (BOM) maintenance for Athlone. The role will also provide backup administration support for Planisware (Portfolio & Project Management Tool) and the Preventative Maintenance Management Systems (Maximo/CAMS).
The position serves as a key link between Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Maintenance, R&D, and IT, ensuring the integrity, availability, and effectiveness of critical business systems that support manufacturing and operational excellence.

A Day in The Life Of:
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Administer and support the BPCS ERP system for assigned business processes.
Create, maintain, and audit item master records, parts data, and related system attributes.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and governance of ERP master data.
Support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and implementation of product and process changes within BPCS.
Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Planning, Procurement, and Quality teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment.
Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and work instructions.
Manage new part creation and lifecycle maintenance.
Coordinate BOM creation, revisions, validations, and approvals.
Support product launches, transfers and discontinuations through accurate system setup.
Backup administrative support for Planisware project management platform.
Support project data updates, reporting, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with global Planisware administrators and project teams.
Act as site administrator for the preventative maintenance management system (Maximo/CAMS).
Create and maintain equipment records, asset hierarchies, preventative maintenance schedules, and maintenance master data.
Support maintenance teams in the effective use of the system.
Monitor system performance, data quality, and compliance requirements.
Generate maintenance KPIs, reports, and performance metrics.
Provide first- and second-line support for assigned business systems.
Coordinate with Corporate IT and external vendors to resolve system issues.
Participate in system upgrades, testing, validation, and implementation.
Ensure compliance with company policies, data governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Skills & Experience
Requires full job knowledge of systems and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education
Requires minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
Requires broad practical knowledge of operational systems and practices.
Proficient in excel, word and systems including BPCS, Maximo/CAMS, and Planisware.
Strong time-management skills and ability to organize/coordinate multiple concurrent projects.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team-based environment.
Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience supporting projects & understands manufacturing operations environment.
