Brothers of Charity Services Ireland – West Region provide a range of day, residential, respite and individual supports to 2000+ people with intellectual disabilities across 400+ services across Counties Galway & Roscommon.

The function of the role is to support the OLIS Client Services Management Software, integration of modules and support the new document management system that aims to digitally file and audit all supported person information.

The Role:

The Systems Training Officer will work to drive and support the rollout of the Client Services System Modules (OLIS) and the associated Document Management system (OLIS DOCs) in residential, respite, day, community, home supports, outreach and other services including organisational areas across Counties Galway and Roscommon.

Qualifications:

Have a relevant third level qualification (Certificate/Diploma/Degree) and/or relevant experience in Health systems, Information Management, Business Systems or equivalent.

Desirable:

Level 7 or Level 8, Health systems, Information Management, Business Systems or equivalent.

Experience:

The Candidate must have a minimum of three years’ work experience and in particular a track-record in delivering supportive, multi-faceted solutions-based training for ICT Systems to various levels of stakeholders, strong exposure to cross-functional team working, leadership of systems projects, and working collaboratively with others to reach targets in a timely manner.

Working Hours:

70 hours per fortnight.

Travel/ Location:

The person appointed must provide his/her own car and must furnish an indemnity from Insurers in favour of the employer. Travelling expenses at the appropriate rate will be paid in respect of travel necessarily performed in the discharge of duty. The role will to travel and support at Training venues & offices throughout Counties Galway and Roscommon.

The travel base for this purpose will be Kilcornan House, Clarinbridge, Co. Galway.

Annual Leave:

28 days per annum.

Remuneration:

Department of Health Grade V (Clerical) salary scale - €51,206 x 4 increments to €57,503 (max) per annum. LSI (1) €59,375 per annum is payable after 3 years on the maximum of the scale. LSI (2) €61,253 per annum is payable after a further 3 years.

This post is permanent, full time and pensionable.
