About the Role:

AIB’s in-house Talent Acquisition team are responsible for supporting the banks internal and external recruitment through a direct sourcing model. The team actively partner with People Leaders/Hiring Managers across all areas of the business to understand and fulfil their talent requirements. They are responsible for the attraction of candidates at all levels across AIB in ROI & UK. This includes Volume & Experienced hires as well as supporting Senior Hiring & Early Careers.

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will partner with hiring managers to develop detailed success profiles and job requirements in order to attract/ target candidates to the vacancies. You will provide your market knowledge on the best sourcing strategy and assist managers by screening and assessing candidates and provide a true partnership and efficient process.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies and processes to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions that accurately reflect position requirements and company culture.
  • Utilise a variety of sourcing methods (e.g., job boards, social media, networking, referrals) to identify and engage with potential candidates.
  • Identify new candidate channels that can be utilised to meet recruitment requirements.
  • Monitor and analyse recruitment metrics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Enable an excellent hiring manager and candidate experience.
  • Be subject matter expert in the recruitment lifecycle and provide business stakeholders with timely market, trend, and best practice information.
  • Recommend system improvements to current recruitment processes to ensure streamlined, cost-effective, high-quality services are provided.
  • Build and maintain database of qualified professionals to rapidly respond to recruitment needs.
  • Attend career fairs and conferences to promote the organisation and deepen the pool of potential candidates. Provide information on company operations and employment opportunities to potential applicants.

What you will bring:

  • Proven experience in managing end to end recruitment processes, either in-house, agency or RPO.
  • Demonstrated ability to network and source on LinkedIn, with knowledge on converting candidates into applicants.
  • Evidence of excellent customer relationship skills, ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels within the company and represent the Talent Acquisition Team with expertise, business knowledge and commercial awareness.
  • Ability to source, screen, hire and secure best talent for organisational needs, ensuring a diverse candidate pool.
  • Prior use of talent market insights and data to influence decisions within the leadership groups and cross-functional teams.
