This is a unique opportunity to join CHI’s People & Culture team, supporting recruitment across Ireland’s leading specialist children’s hospital group. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality recruitment services, ensuring CHI attracts and appoints the best talent to support paediatric care.

Our Talent Acquisition team is at the forefront of scaling one of the biggest transformational and digital health projects, in Ireland to date. We need the brightest recruiting minds to match our rapidly expanding business needs, while bringing the best and most diverse healthcare talent into the company.

Children’s Health Ireland is seeking to hire a HR Grade VI, Talent Acquisition Specialist to support and implement the transition from a recruitment model to a TA model in the first instance. You will also be required to lead out on our mass hiring initiative in the pre-hospital opening phase. In this role, you will be responsible for partnering closely with multiple stakeholders to maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for the various business demands, such as across Medical, Nursing, Health & Social Care professionals and Management & Admin.

In this role you will build and implement innovative sourcing strategies led by data and market intelligence; lead a selection process that adopts best practices, and partner closely with colleagues and key stakeholders through the hiring journey, to identify high-quality and diverse candidates.

The successful candidate may be required to work across CHI sites and services in line with organisational requirements and the development of the new children’s hospital and associated services.

Essential Requirements:

✨ 3rd level qualification in Human Resource Management or relevant area to the role.

AND

✨ Aminimum of 2 years recruitment/talent acquisition experience preferably in healthcare or public sector.

OR

✨ Must have a minimum of 3 years post graduate HR experience and have completed a qualification in HR.

✨ Minimum of 2 years’ track record working within a Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, In-House or Agency Recruitment facing role.

✨ Recognized public service or healthcare recruitment experience.
