Talent Development Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and organised colleague to join our Talent Development & Engagement team. This role will be responsible for supporting all topics across Talent Development in Lidl. We are looking for someone who can effectively partner with and support our different departments and colleagues in Lidl. The TD Specialist will report day to day to the Senior TD Specialist.
What you'll do
Task Description
- Work closely with the Senior TD Specialist to deliver and drive the Talent Management strategy within Lidl.
- Support design, development and implementation of Talent Development programmes. E.g. The Leadership Academy.
- Implement national and international development concepts including country-specific adaptation and localisation.
- General administration and reporting tasks.
- In addition to the above-mentioned duties, the TD Specialist is obliged to carry out other individual tasks which may arise, if instructed by their line manager.
- Carry out other ad hoc duties for the department.
Scope of responsibility
- Research & benchmark potential options, internally and externally, and determine the appropriate learning solutions.
- Create and manage relevant learning materials to a high standard.
- Support the continuous improvement of training and development programmes by keeping up to date with best practice.
- Identify opportunities and implement improvements to content, programme materials and delivery.

- Quality of learning materials
- Talent Management Cycle participant and completion rates
- Participant satisfaction scores from training feedback
- Training completion rates
- Employee satisfaction
- Employee retention rate
Position-specific requirement
- Evidence of content design and development
- Engaging presenting and confident facilitation skills
- Data driven analysis of talent reports
What you'll need
- Highly organised and self-motivated
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in L&D (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent influencing and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Google Workspace
- Fluent in both written and spoken English

- €51,000 rising to €65,000 after 3 years
