Teacher Of Technology And Design, - Day Post

Description: 5 days Permanent Effective 1 September 2024
(In-service Programme August)

Responsible to: Head of Technology

Essential Criteria:
1. Hold a teaching qualification which meets the requirements for recognition to teach in grant-aided schools in Northern Ireland - Post Primary Technology Related Subject
2. Hold an Honours Degree (minimum 2:2) in a Technology Related Subject
3. Be registered GTCNI by 1 August 2024
4. Excellent communication skills as demonstrated on application form
5. A clear written statement, expressed in the application form, of how you can support the College’s integrated and inclusive ethos.

Desirable Criteria:
1. Hold Hons degree (minimum 2.1) in a Technology related subject
2. Demonstrate ability to teach a second subject
3. Experience of teaching Technology or Construction up to GCSE level on Teaching Practice or otherwise
4. Evidence of involvement in extra curricular activities.
5. Evidence of recent professional development relevant to post.
