Team Lead – Domiciliary Care

Permanent 35 hours per week

Monday to Friday £23,073.23 plus mileage & benefits Job

Purpose:

Primarily Field based in Waterside, Cityside/Shantallow or Limavady & Strabane areas as required.

 Arrange initial visits to service user homes and completion of Service User Agreements along with the completion of risk assessments for and with service users

 To contribute to the on-going assessment and review of need of each service user

 To undertake and complete Quality Annual Monitoring visits with each service user

 To check service user satisfaction by regular telephone contact

 Deputise with the management of the day-to-day operations in the absence of the Service Manager

 To carry out spot checks with staff and report outcomes to service manager

Essential Criteria:

 Minimum of 18 months paid experience supporting older people in a domiciliary/social care setting.

 Excellent communication skills both verbal & written

 Flexible approach to working hours

 Full driving licence and access to a car

 Ability to provide on-call support to Care Workers outside of office hours
