This role is being offered on a permanent, full-time basis.

About the Role:

The role presents an exciting and challenging opportunity to an experienced Payments Analyst / SME, who wants to work in a dynamic workplace environment with a real opportunity to positively influence the direction and outcome of strategic change programmes through best in class design thinking and practices. You will be analysing complex issues and understanding business opportunities in order to build solutions aligned to current and future business needs.

Defining an approach that correctly balances the demand from a regulatory, business and platform perspective that delivers a stable, compliant and competitive Payments Platform is the primary challenge of the role.

This is a superb opportunity for someone who wants to develop and enhance their skillset. You will be working within a high performing Business Change Delivery team, play a role in cross functional scrum teams with a wide reach across AIB and fill a leading role in multiple projects that will offer experience across a variety of changes.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Will engage with various business stakeholders to identify, understand and document detailed business requirements for IT solutions and/or business process change using the knowledge you have built up with your past experiences.
  • Can review functional, technical and test documentation to ensure the business requirements are captured correctly and catered for in the new solution/process.
  • Has experience working in Agile methodology and delivery in scrum teams.
  • Will engage with various end users and business stakeholders to understand the Business Operating Model impact of the change and undertake the appropriate business readiness tasks prior to implementation.
  • Will establish relationships with business partners, key stakeholders and customers and establish regular communication.
  • Has the ability to challenge the solution without damaging relationships to ensure the best solution is delivered.
  • Drives implementation of a continuous improvement culture within the team.
  • Creates an environment where creative thinking is encouraged and developed to ensure that we maintain best in class products and propositions.

What you will bring:

  • 5+ years business and/or technical change delivery related experience is required with working knowledge of change management methodologies and best practices eg. Agile/Waterfall, etc.
  • Having a good understanding of the EU and UK Payments Clearings (SEPA, FPS, CHAPS, BACS, CBPR+ & TARGET2.
  • Self-starter with ability to work on own initiative and strong attention to detail, completing tasks to a very high degree of accuracy. Good leadership and negotiation skills with ability to build productive working relationships with internal teams, management, staff and external stakeholders.
  • Have an appreciation for I.T. systems and the ability to communicate clearly with technical leads required to deliver successful business outcomes.
  • Strong Business Analysis & Problem solving skills with ability to perform meaningful competitive analysis.
